Customer Registration Trigger
Whenever a new customer is identified, the sales team has to collect all the information about the customer.
We made this process easy by creating a Team Adaptive card. Now the salesperson only has to open the Teams bot and type “Registration Form”, the bot displays an Adaptive Card prompting the user to enter the customer’s email.
Onboarding Process
Now, to add further information the salesperson needs to type “Customer Onboarding” in the Teams bot and they will receive an Adaptive Card with pending customers list.
After selecting the customer, they can review the information added by the customer and add any extra information required, like their credit requirements, etc.
1. Start the Flow
Whenever a new order is added in their Infor M3 ERP, Power Automate automatically transfers relevant information—such as order details, delivery dates, and delay reasons, etc. — into a central system. This ensures real-time updates without the need for manual Excel entry. Any changes made in the ERP are instantly reflected in the centralized database, streamlining the entire process and reducing the risk of errors.
2. Delivery Report Trigger
When a sales representative needs a delivery report, they can simply open the Teams bot and type “Delivery Report.” A Teams Adaptive Card will appear, allowing them to input necessary criteria such as report date range or orders of any specific region.
3. Automated Summary
They only wanted to know the delays happening from their side and thus with Power Automate, they were able to generate a summary of key delivery metrics, including the number of orders and the status of deliveries (on time or delayed), in Teams itself. This eliminates the need for manual checking excel sheets or calculating how many late deliveries are made and why.
4. Automated Report
They no longer had to manually compile data into Excel. Power Automate automatically creates a detailed report with relevant delivery data, highlighting the late deliveries and their causes which was their main concern. This process eliminates data mistmatch errors that come with manual entries and saves 80% of their employee’s time.
